Majordomo is a "groupware" project which evolved from code by Brent Chapman <brent@greatcircle.com>, with maintenance by John Rouillard <rouilj@cs.umb.edu>. The current Majordomo maintainer is Chan Wilson <cwilson@sgi.com>.
A majordomo is a person who speaks, makes arrangements, or takes charge for another; from Latin "major domus" - "master of the house".
