: Okay... After determining that I can in fact get JavaScript to determine a frame's content (as per FAQ http://www.irt.org/script/frame.htm#151), I'm now finding that the Cascading Style Sheets don't want to manifest themselves in the target frames (at least not in Netscape Navigator). There doesn't seem to be any reason for the CSS not to work though. They operate just fine when I'm not using the previously mentioned JavaScript, and sicne the CSS are tied to each individual HTML document rather than as part of a declared frameset... You get the idea. Anyone know a fix for this?
Is it doing the same thing in IE? Unfortunately, the CSS implementation is still pretty shaky (in both browsers), and they both implement a different subset of the whole W3C spec. So your problem could be the browser, or it could be some obscure bug in the implementation that causes problems when you use both JS and CSS.
