This was a very interesting scrip. Just what I was looking for to ease the work on a "Tip of the week" page.
I found it easier to copy the script for your example though, rather than cutting out the text that was pasted on the page. (doing the last, I got the message "Date is not spsified" or something like that.
When it comes to the option where you can select the previous articles/weeks I have some comments. Since the script gives you a new page from week to week, the user should be able to selcet weeks, instead of dates/months. And second: Often the idea with "a new page every week" is so that the user wants to come back and see what's new. With the selction method curret, the user is allowed see weeks ahead.

Both these remarks of mine are probably easy to fix if you are familiar with java, but since I'm not I though I'd give my opinion.

Anyway, thanks for good work and this will certainly make my work faster and more rilyable.
