The idea was great but with my limited skills I have been unable to make it work and your previous example is too large and doesn't contain the same code.

I have been using a WebTracker counter on my personal homepage for about 3 months now.
(WebTracker site: http://linux46.dn.net/tracker/ )

However, when I view stats of how many visitors, when they visited, etc I realised I don't know how many are "return visitors" because I don't use Cookies.

Can you please tell me if using your sample code for Intelligent Cookies on my web page for the purposes of tracking "return visitors" will work?

Thanks in advance.
Michael.

Thanks for offering this information but I am not savay enough to understand how to get rid of existing cookies!

I have acquired a cookie that adds advertising to every email I now send out. I don't know how to remove it except to remove it from EVERY message! Very disturbing.
I am sure others are experiencing the same thing.

Can you help us?
Barbara

Good information but I don't know enough of the basics to know if it is what I need. I want to put a cookie on the homepage of my site so that if someone has seen the flash intro once, they will skip it the next time they come to the site.
Thank you!

as a first time internet user, i was really interested in starting up my own website for teens. when i went on to a website and clicked on `create` to start designing my website, it said i had to accept my internet cookies. when going through a search engine procedure, it directed me to your website. i havent got a clue what cookies are! after reading through your `introduction` i found it was very hard for someone like me to understand. it was very technical, and doesnt explain how to `accept your cookies.` could you please reply to my query, and maybe learn me how to `accept my cookies` step- to- step. thankyou.
