I am putting togther a webpage written entirely in Javascript and HTML primarily to show people what can be done with using Javascript and HTML, but also because I am trying to get into web development, and want something a bit flashy to show I've got what it takes.

Anyhow, I created a splash screen and a menu page, and thought "Wouldn't it be nice if the splash screen could be used as a preloader?". So, I went hunting around the Internet for a way to preload a page in Javascript, and most of the solutions were quite complex. Your solution, however, was right on the button.

My only question is: Does the browser load the page in the 100% part of the frame fully first, then the * page next, or are they both loaded simultaneously? The obvious reason I ask is that if the splash screen doesn't fully load before the main page, it's not quite as effective.

That aside, great stuff guys. Keep it up.

Thanking you,

Joseph Karl.
