I've read a couple of other articles that try to introduce html, and they leave out some important details that a beginner would need to know. It's great that you understand the need for some backround information.

I am currently just starting to design my first web page and am using Visual InterDev6. I can do this without using the html code because it writes it automatically as I add my bits to the pages. Do I really need to learn html? please answer!
