I am looking for any kind of tutorial or white paper which addresses how to use Perl to access a POP3 mail server via the browser and add/download file attachements from email messages.
I am using a CGI script to hit the POP server, but encoding/decoding the file attachment is another matter.

If anyone out there has any practical advise for this problem, I would love to hear it!
