: Hi!,

: I received the following question on the HTML FAQ:
: <quote>
: How can I make my background image not scroll when I scroll down the page in Netscape ? (I know that this can be done by using bgproperties=fixed in MSIE)
: </quote>

: Any help would be greatly appreciated,

The <TD> tag in netscape 4 allows you to set a background image. By using a borderless table and setting the body's background color as near to the image's overall color as possible, you should be able to acheive the effect of a fixed or non-scrolling background. I don't know, however, if this will work in Netscape 3 .Bill Pettrey
