If you had said NN4 then I would have supplied a solution. NN3 however does not provide the ability to position the window accurately on the screen, or to reposition, resize the window once it has been opened.
window.open in NN3 onlt allows the following propeties to be set:
toolbar yes/no
location yes/no
directories yes/no
status yes/no
menubar yes/no
scrollbars yes/no
resizeable yes/no
width (pixels)
height (pixels)
