Having used both Cold Fusion and ASP, I can say that it's easier to learn and implement Cold Fusion quickly. But for larger development projects, I prefer scripting in ASP. I suppose this is because I'm accustomed to using Visual InterDev, which simplifies the task of creating ASP files.
If you're going to use InterDev/ASP, make sure you're using SQL Server as the back end. Developing ASP code that uses Access MDB files is much more difficult on a remote web server.
