: In my HTML FAQ @ http://www.irt.org/html/misc.htm#cache, I answer how ensure that a page does not end up in the cache.

: I was wondering, if it is possible to only have an image excluded, and not an entire page.

: Any help would be greatly appreciated,

In MSIE3 and MSIE4 you could load another page into a floating frame. This other page could then request that the page contents not be cached and also show the image.

In other browsers you may have to resort to frames, although in NN4 you could load a document into a Layer and use a similar technique to above.
